Meet Jack! Jack was born on August 4th, 2016. From the moment I stepped into their house, I noticed Jack’s parents were glowing (despite being exhausted, I’m sure)!
Unsurprisingly, newborn shoots can be a bit unpredictable, so we usually budget at least a few hours to account for diaper changes and feeding breaks. Not only does this take the pressure off getting the perfect shot if the newborn baby is being a little fussy (as babies can be), but it also gives the parents a much needed rest.
During Jack’s session, we wanted him to be as comfortable as possible, so we made every effort to keep his beanbag warm and cozy with a portable heater.
Side note: I always ask the parents to bump up the heat in the house. When we’re all sweating a bit, baby is as comfy as she/he was in the womb.
His parents wanted to try a few different outfits from family members for the shoot, which I’m always happy to try. Another little touch that makes the photographs extra special!
Personally, I think his turtle outfit fit him best! What do you think?
