The first time I met with Nicole and Ed during their photography consultation, Nicole showed me the scrapbooks she makes chronicling their lives together. She puts so much time into personalizing the details, and that magic touch is everywhere on their wedding day.
As you will soon notice, Nicole and Ed are huge Disney nerds. From the table decor—each table was decorated as a different movie—and the cake right down to the Mickey ears painted on Nicole’s ring fingers and big toes, the reception was full of fun, yet understated Disney details. Such details are only fitting for a couple who got engaged in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.
The day started with Nicole and her bridal party getting ready at her parents’ house while Ed got ready with his groomsmen at a hotel nearby.
Like many couples these days, these two opted for a first look instead of waiting until Nicole walked down the aisle. First look photos are always incredibly special and romantic. There’s nothing quite like capturing the looks on their faces.
Plus, these beautiful, blooming trees were the most stunning backdrop for their romantic, Disney-esque wedding.
Both the ceremony and reception took place at the Spring Lake Manor in Spring Lake, New Jersey.
True to their personalities, Nicole and Ed filled the day with memorable moments, such as when the bride’s family sang Neil Diamond’s Sweet Caroline to her aunt or when they danced crazily to the song Shout.
The glowing couple and their guests danced the night away to the awesome and unforgettable Jimmy and the Parrots, a Jimmy Buffett tribute band. If you’re planning a wedding in New Jersey, these guys know how to get a crowd dancing, conga lines and all!
